So when adding items, first it checks to see if you can fit it in the uniform, then the vest, then the backpack, then gives up. Haven't gotten around to writing one since the addition of the container specific commands, as it was looking like Jappapatramara was working on lots of handy new commands(that seem to be on hold ATM).Īnyway, if I recall correctly, the order items are added is Uniform > Vest > Backpack. I've written and rewritten player state getters and setters quite a few times since Alpha, basically rewriting everything every time commands are added or changed. While it seems logical to add things back to the container they were in on save it seems to ranomize it very strangely. Last we add his player items (binocular, map, compass etc.) Then we add his uniform and items in that Now we add his backpack, add the items he had in it. We remove the dummy backpack so he has only his weapon and the ammo he had that has been saved We add ammunition into the backpack and his weapons (since adding first ammo and then weapons it will reload the weapon) Is there some kind of logic behind it? Or some easier way to achieve this? This works so far, only problem is that the items seem to get put into the containers at random.

We save a player's items into a database, everything the player has and then if he reconnects we wan't to give it all back. Focus about this question is the "specific" part in the title.
